Kyle and Jamie Tie the knot - 5/23/09

The Saturday of Memorial Day weekend, I ventured out to Angola, IN to the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park, to shoot Kyle and Jamie's wedding. It was a very hot day, felt like 90 degrees (although it was more realistically at maybe 80) so the conditions were perfect for an outdoor wedding. The beach in the background was calling to us all that day! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Mothers Day

I had a great Mothers Day. Eric took the girls and I out to lunch at Red Robin. It was really good to my surprise. I was expecting another sandwich place, but I really liked the food there.

For my mom, I made some really cute photos of the girls. I took them outside and had them hold up a small flower to the camera and shot them,looking down at them. On the computer, I edited out the flower and sent them to the printer. Once I got them back, I cut slits in their hands where the flowers were, and placed a fake flower inside instead. I got some 8x10 frames and took the glass out and taped the photo in. Its made to look like they are handing you a flower. And the flower sticking out, looks 3D. Really cool!

Abby, my youngest, did not want to take the photo. lol I had to do hers over the course of 2 days bribeing her with m&ms lol Autumn, my almost 8 year old, didnt mind it. She is my little model. You just get a camera out and shes ready to pose!

Its been a while!

Well, it sure has been a loooooong winter hasnt it! Iam sooo glad for spring to finally be here, although the weather this weekend says its still winter with S-N-O-W on Sunday! wow! Crazy Indiana weather.

Last week we had some really nice days out. Eric worked a few overnights so I spent some quality time with the girls while he was gone, and took them out back to play. We spent litterally, hours outside. It was alot of fun, and I of course had my camera attached to my neck the whole time. I took snaps of everything from the bird houses, the big trees that fell down from the winds, some rocks we found, to the pork chops on the grill! lol

I also took some of the girls. Autumn, at almost 8 years old, LOVES the camera! She loves to get dressed up, and get her hair done and pose for me. Abby though, is an active 2 year old and does not hold still for anything! So it was interesting trying to get photos of them!

overdue update

Its been a while since I have posted, with the holidays and all this crazy snow, its been hard to keep up with blogging! I guess deep down I have never been a diehard blogger! ;p

Some of you have been asking how I am feeling. The truth is, I feel great! This is my 3rd pregnancy, and with my girls, I had every symptom in the book, but this time around, I wouldnt even know that I was expecting if it was not for the pregnancy test!

I had my first dr appt yesterday and things are great. We are planning on an early induction and I go for an ultrasound yet this morning to check on dates.

Since this is my last pregnancy, I am enjoying every second of it!

My oldest daughter is a Daisy at Girl Scouts and has been selling cookies the last two weeks. We teamed up with my bff and her daughter and sold tons of boxes at the bank here in Lapaz and at Walmart. Her daughter ended up selling the most boxes in the first two weeks with over 300 sold. Autumn sold 212 which is much more than I expected! (BTW we are still selling through March if you want to buy any!)

Our next exciting event is Abby's 2nd birthday in about a week and a half! I am excited and sad at the same time that she is growing up so fast. She is at a very cute age right now and is always saying or doing something cute! She is having a Mickey Mouse party.

I hate to post without a photo, but I just have not taken anything new as of late. But I will get on that and post some photos on my next post :) Till then.....

Some new edits

I recently bought some new PhotoShop actions and was playing around with some photos. Here is one of my favs. I cant decide which I like better. I think Iam leaning more to the '70's vintage look' one. What do you think?
